"Eternally Cursed" was written and recorded November & December of 2021, independently by Etienne Tel'uial, in Vermont.

"This album centers on death. Ever since I was a child the natural phenomenon/force of death has always captivated me, and I would find myself often imagining myself as a condemned man on death row, or a warrior marching to the front lines of battle knowing very well that it would be a fight to the death. Something about a man facing his own death always fascinated me and still fascinates me more than ever, not for some stupid thrill or for some kind of heroism, but because to me facing death is man coming to terms with his own life. It is one coming to terms with his own ephemeral nature and the mysteries of this world that are as deep and unknowable as the vast distances beyond the stars in the firmament. It is a giving of oneself to the unknown, to the dreamless abyss. And to me, I suppose, there's nothing more beautiful than one having the courage to take this leap into the void, and to trust without any hesitation what has always been there within you and around you. We are eternally cursed to this standard, to this cycle of never-ending battles to uphold the essence. To uphold the darkened mysteries of life with a brave smile upon our faces, with a fire in our hearts in the midst of our inexorable mother death."
