1.
Fear caresses desire, alien forces at work, memories of my father, memories of my mother... Death will find me, Death will have me... Millions of miles away, in this vacuum of time, memories of the spring, memories of the moon... Death will find me, Death will have me...
2.
Mourning the fallen, no one hears the call, somewhere in the ether, buried by Neptune's moon.. In the dark they travel, light years away from hope, shifting methods of thought, ingrained in the dust of moons. Climbing arctic cliffs, fields of radiation, loss of recognition, corrosion of the rising tide... In their darkened slumber, ages away from hope, shifting methods of thought, ingrained in the dust of moons.
3.
The deepest conceivable cold, grips the depths of me, stars beyond the distance, are but faint memories in time. Yearning to die, for this cold to take me, once and for all, yearning to live, but not a chance... Yearning to die, yearning to live...
4.
Somewhere, far beyond these stars, rises the light of a new world, beacons, of alien blood, somehow, in the eye of time. They can't see us, alien blood... Falling, through portals of despair, seeing, shadows that aren't there, hoping, for an open door, somehow, in the eye of time. They can't see us, alien blood...
5.
No tomorrow, birth of sorrow, alien dimensions, gates of alpha, nullified momentum, partial truths, visions of seven, dreams of fire. Visions of seven! Static blood, dissolution, self destruction, exsanguination, death of thought, coalescent, visions of seven, dreams of fire. Visions of seven!
6.
Approaching Triton, ages away from the sun, frozen nitrogen havens, insentient methane truths. From the vastness, Triton whispers... Inconceivable strength, roaming the Neptunian voids, frozen nitrogen havens, insentient methane truths. From the vastness, Triton whispers...
7.
Losing direction, watching, a new world, invited, enraptured, envisioned forever... Observing, the rising, and falling of their center, captured, withheld, envisioned forever... Neso, Larissa, Despina, Sao, Thalasa, Proteus, Naiad, Triton...
8.
I wander in stars, in darkness, forlorn, I wander in distance, in sorrow, in vain... The sun will rise in me, forever!

about

"Through Neptunian Voids" was written and recorded October & November of 2020, independently by Etienne Tel'uial, in Vermont.

Re-released via Born For Burning Productions in Digipack CD format on January 29th, 2022.

Louksna's debut album “Through Neptunian Voids” is a nine track journey of atmospheric interstellar metal, meant to send you into the desolate outer reaches of our solar system, and into the lone tragic voids of thought. It is a one way voyage into the lifeless voids beyond our planet Neptune, where certain death lingers. Though the subject of deep space is the main essence of this work, there is another layer tied to this theme that may pass unnoticed. This other layer holds the ideas of spiritual death, loss of center and the notion of losing one's direction in existential terms. It is a fall into spiritual entropy, disassociation and total death. But even within this turmoil there is meaning. There may still be a spark somewhere in the vastness, waiting to ignite something new, long after everything we know is gone. A new sun will inevitably rise. But until then, we must face our certain death, we must face the Neptunian voids...
